History

In 1991 Muloobinba Aboriginal Corporation was established to provide a much needed family support service to the Aboriginal community that was managed and delivered by Aboriginal people.

When Muloobinba Aboriginal Corporation was formed, we were the only Aboriginal specific family support service in the whole state.

Initially we had the ability to provide Aboriginal specific family support services to the local Aboriginal communities in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Local Government Areas.

Since our formation, we have extended our programs to include – Young Parenting Support and Family Support, Intense Family Support, accreditation as an Out of Home Care Agency and commenced working in Early Childcare Education services at Nikinpa Aboriginal Child and Family Centre.

We have now expanded our footprint of services into Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock, Muswellbrook, the Upper Hunter and Central Coast
