Youth Services
At Muloobinba, our Youth Services provide a safe, supportive, and culturally strong space for Aboriginal young people involved in the justice system. We work with young people who are navigating the court system, youth justice involvement, or challenges at home — offering programs that meet their unique needs and circumstances.
Our dedicated Youth Workers offer individualised case management, mentoring, group programs, and culturally informed guidance to empower young people to overcome barriers and achieve their goals. We’re here to build resilience, confidence, and brighter futures — together.
Domestic and Family Violence Youth Workers
Supporting Young People Affected by Domestic and Family Violence
Our Domestic and Family Violence Youth Workers provide vital support for young girls who are involved in the court system or connected to youth justice. We work with young people who have experienced — or are using — domestic, family, or intimate partner violence.
This voluntary program is open to self-referrals as well as referrals from other agencies, giving young people a safe and supportive space to begin their journey towards healing and change.
What We Offer
We tailor our support to the unique needs of each young person, offering:
Case Management: We help young people set and achieve goals that matter to them, such as education, employment, mental health support, anger management, and alcohol and drug use.
Awareness Workshops: We provide education around domestic, family, and intimate partner violence to build understanding and resilience.
One-on-One Mentoring: Personalised guidance and support from a dedicated youth worker.
Court Support: Assistance navigating the court system, including attending court with the young person when needed.
Youth Justice Support: Additional support for young people involved with youth justice services.
Weekly Girls Group: A safe space every Wednesday from 11am to 1pm where young girls can connect, share experiences, and build skills together.
Flexible, Individualised Support: We adapt our program to meet the needs of each young person, giving them the opportunity to speak up and shape their own support journey.
Our Domestic and Family Violence Youth Workers are here to stand beside young people every step of the way — helping them build a safer, stronger future.
