Empowering Aboriginal Young People and Adults After Foster Care (18 - 25 years old)

What is Future Journeyz?

Future Journeyz is a specialist aftercare program created by Muloobinba Aboriginal Corporation. We support Aboriginal young people aged 18-25 in the Hunter and Central Coast LGAs who have left foster care, helping them build independent, fulfilling lives while staying connected to their cultural roots. Our program offers housing support, job readiness training, educational assistance, and emotional well-being services.

Collaborate with us: Supporting Young Aboriginal Adults together

Future Journeyz is dedicated to empowering Aboriginal young people transitioning out of foster care, but we can’t do it alone. We’re seeking collaboration with organisations across various sectors—housing, emotional well-being, employment, education, and cultural connection—to create holistic support networks for our young adults. Your expertise and services can make a life-changing difference for these young people.

How Can You Get Involved?

We are looking to partner with organisations that share our vision of supporting Aboriginal youth to thrive. Whether you offer housing assistance, educational programs, employment opportunities, mental health support, or cultural workshops, your involvement can help expand the opportunities available to these young people as they transition into independent living. The ages we work are between 18-24 years old and are apart of the eligibility criteria that is stated in the section above.
