Early Education & Care

Nikinpa Aboriginal Child & Family Centre

A place for children and families to Belong to a safe, culturally appropriate, stimulating environment where children can explore who they are becoming. Nikinpa has a solid cultural focus within our play-based program, and we develop our learning programs around the Early Years Learning Framework.

Nikinpa’s Preschool is based in a beautiful and culturally appropriate setting. Staff lead activities with strong cultural practices that support the Aboriginal identity of children and families using the service. Our educators value children and their contribution, are nurturing, and respond respectfully to all children and families.

The Preschool Program is open to children aged 3 to 6. There is a strong emphasis on building confidence and learning to work in small nurturing groups. Comprehensive support is provided to enable children to successfully transition to school.
